Griffin has nothing to live for anymore. He’s lost, and in his mind, murdered, everyone he’s ever cared about (his parents, Sam, Consuelo, and he caused Alejeandra to go into hiding) and any morals that he may’ve developed didn’t because the he needed to survive and to survive he needed to steal and kill.

Griffin kills Paladins both out of revenge and he believes that with every murdered Paladin, there’s a kid jumper who wasn’t killed by them. He doesn’t want any kid to have to go through what he did.

He’s secretly, very, very secretly heroic. He once threw himself in front of an electricity gun to save a kid jumper. It’s why he has a jagged, ugly scar on his shoulder. But call him a hero and he’ll mess you up, yeah?

He doesn’t like getting close to people and he doesn’t want to. He believes that if he does, they’ll die too. (Plus, they’re a liability)
